Club Guidelines:
Our club conducts its play according to the rules of NZ Bridge. Sessions are usually under the control of a professional director.
Players may use any bidding system they choose so long as it is declared, but ACOL is most commonly used and is the system taught in our classes.
Two sets of results are usually posted at the end of each session - 'raw' and 'handicapped'.
The raw winners attract 'C-points'.
Casual pairs may play, except during Swiss pairs or Teams events where complete tables need to be arranged in advance.
